I'm a die hard fan of most things in the Doctor Who universe, but I just have to say for the record, that this past episode of Torchwood (2.10), was kind of disappointing.

It wasn't scary, it didn't make much sense, they didn't justify how ANYTHING was done, the ending was predictable, and it even looked like the plot was kind of painful for the actors to perform.

It kind of reminded me of watching Daleks in Manhatten from S3 of Doctor Who, you know, minus the penis headed alien.

Maybe I'm just being negative because I'm stressed out from school and work right now.

I don't think so though.

If anyone loved it I'd be glad to hear their opinion. It might help me appreciate it better.

I really enjoyed it, but more for the character interactions than the plot. I find if I pay too much attention to the actual story, I wind up disliking it. There were some really great moments between Jack & Gwen, Jack & Owen, Ianto & Gwen, and Ianto & Jack.

Not the best episode ever, but I feel this is the lull between the rest of the series and the final three episodes. Next week looks interesting.

wow, are we that close to the end already?

I guess I was so wrapped up in trying to figure out the sketchy plot, that I didn't really notice any good character interaction. I'm really enjoying the Jack/Gwen/Ianto love triangle (I'm in the minority and a glutton for punishment, I know) and I didn't really get my fix this week on that one.

Maybe I'll watch it again and look for for the subtle stuff. Or maybe I'll just wait patiently for the next one. You're right. It does look pretty good.

Yeah, can you believe it? It's like I blinked and it's almost over. Three more episodes, right?

I'm a sucker for the whole Jack/Gwen/Ianto thing as well. I don't think there was much by way of that triangle this time around, but there were a lot of great little one liners or quips back and forth. Like Owen making a snarky comment about traveling the freak show and Jack snapping right back about how he still does. Hee! And poor Ianto being such a fanboy while his friends roll their eyes at him.

And I can't be the only one who squeeed at the mention of the rift working both ways. Huh? Am I? *g*

There was a quick little comment in the preview about how things could leave through the rift, not just come through. I'll have to replay it in the morning to get the exact quote.

It is seriously my crack and I need my fix.

I might just have brought someone else over to the dark side today. I was training a new employee and my one co-worker came in. We started to discuss S4 spoilers and the new girl goes, What are you talking about?

I felt like Mr Burns from the simpsons. My "I'm so glad you asked," sounded quite a bit like his, "excelent." :)

I've done the same with my friend. And I'm getting her to watch Torchwood S1 before she finishes S3. HEE! If I had to watch Cyberwoman, so does she.

And I am SO not warning her about Tinkerbell!Doctor.

lol. So glad I'm not the only one who had "I do believe in fairies, I do believe in fairies!" running through her head while watching that scene for the first time.
