sometimes writing is so hard
Does anyone ever get the feeling that the story they are working on just does NOT want to be written? It is like the characters in them have decided the plot is either implausible or not dignified enough for their participation and have gone on strike.

I am having so much trouble writing right now. *sigh*

I know exactly what you're talking about. I hate it when I finally have a day free to do some solid writing and nothing happens. What I've done though is make a music playlist of songs that suits the mood I want to create for a certain chapter/scene or whatever and just listen to that for a while until something hopefully clicks. What do you do in those situations? Maybe I can borrow some tips :D

In terms of plot points, I just have to take a break and step back for a few days and usually during that time my brain has figured out what to do, I'm sure its the same with you. I avoid forcing myself to write cause the result is always terrible, now I just wait until my muse works with me ^^ I'm sure you'll be back in the groove soon n_n

Glad to know I'm not alone.

I've tried the playlist thing, that has worked for me in the past, but more often then not it just distracts me so much I never actually get any writing done.

What I usually end up doing is forcing myself to write. As you said, it does start out absolutely awful, but usually I will catch my stride at some point and then I will go back and fix the crappy parts later.
