Just a few thoughts on The End of Time pt2
It was everything I'd hoped it would be!

Oh gosh, where do I start?

I think I started crying before the episode did. But the waterworks really got going when the Master died for the Doctor. "Get out of the way." Those two really did love each other (romantic or not, your choice). It's a twisted love for sure, but it is there.

And then Wilf knocked four times and I totally lost it. Of course the Doctor would die saving someone he cares about. That is so him.

And then at the end where he visits/saves all his companions. I was a little WTF? about Micky and Martha being married, since she used to be engaged to that adorable pediatrician, but I liked it. They are good together.

Anyone else think Sarah Jane kind of knew? She just sort of sent off that vibe for me.

And I seriously sobbed when the Doctor told Sylvia he purchased the lottery ticket (obviously a winning one) with a quid given by Donna's father. That was beautiful.

And CAPTAIN JACK on that space station with all the aliens and ALONZO!!! That was wonderful. I giggled like crazy when the baby adipose jumped across the bar. It made me laugh amidst all the tears.

And the book. Joan was happy.

Rose. Really, does that name need a explanation? He wanted to see her one more time. And yes, it's going to be a great year.

A lovely, lovely send off. Just wonderful. I don't care what anyone else says. I loved it.

I do however, really want to know who that timelady was who uncovered her face. The Doctor obviously knew her. Maybe it will come up some other time.

I think it was Romana.

*further thoughts will be postponed until coherent thought has returned*

Sarah Jane knew. ES is just awesome enough that I could see that all over her face. She knew it would be the last time she saw this incarnation of the Doctor.

I'm starting to lean toward the mysterious Time Lady being Susan.
